Hyatt Centric Times Square

Project Description

Located just east of Times Square, this Hyatt hotel is a revolving door of tourists, business travelers, and come New Years Eve, party revelers looking for an elegant location to watch the famous crystal ball drop. The ACTUAL revolving door is just the tip of the iceberg for the installations performed by AIC at this location. We built a custom storefront, clad in a combination of mirror polished and brushed stainless steel, and looking up to the ceiling, a unique bronze "baguette" style ceiling with thousands of individual bronze and wood strips on curved stainless steel ribs. These ceilings seamlessly meshed with our stainless steel entrance canopies.

Moving upstairs, AIC fabricated and installed custom mirrors and trims throughout the health club, elevator jambs at the amenity floors, a beautiful mirror polished laser cut leaf design ceiling at the 53rd floor skybar, and finally designed and installed a custom glass railing system on the three setback terraces.
